Our Mission Statement:
The Chamber recognizes that our most valuable resources are our members, volunteers and staff, and that by working together and using our resources in a balanced manner will we accomplish our set mission. Our members consist of over 200 local business owners. While many of the members have an actual storefront in Wayland or the nearby area, we have many businesses that are managed from home or have a mobile business.
The chamber holds several networking events each year including various types of formal and informal gatherings, the annual golf outing, and the annual business EXPO. Our members are also encouraged to initiate member networking events that the chamber will help organize and plan.
If you are a new business or have a special anniversary or celebration, we can help arrange for a ribbon cutting ceremony and press releases. The chamber will inform all members of the celebration and invite local city officials and media. We encourage our citizens to shop and support the chamber businesses. Membership in the Chamber is an investment in your business development and the economic health of Wayland.
To become a member of the Wayland Area Chamber of Commerce, please complete this Chamber Member Registration (form fillable). Completed registrations can be faxed, emailed, or sent via US Postal Service to the Chamber office.
