Joining a chamber of commerce is a wonderful opportunity to join other business owners who do business in the area. Many of the members offer discounted services to other members who use their services. Our members consist of over 200 local business owners. While many of the members have an actual storefront in Wayland or the nearby area, we have many businesses that are managed from home or have a mobile business.

Businesses join a chamber for the many benefits offered. Some specific benefits include; A free listing in the annual full color business directory; networking opportunities; educational luncheons; Davenport Scholarship program available to any chamber member, their employees, and their dependents; information about your business on our chamber website; opportunities to post special events, hot deals, and job opportunities on our website; the option to place your business cards and brochures in the chamber office; referrals to your business from the chamber; free small business counseling referrals; member to member benefits and much more.  There are also networking opportunities and events such as our annual golf outing and discounted booth space at our annual business expo. There is NEVER any obligation to attend any event to belong to the chamber. Even if you do not attend events, you are still able to reap many of the great benefits of chamber membership!
