Area residents who may be concerned about providing meals for their families have a little help now thanks to area churches and sponsors. On the fourth Friday monthly, those in need of groceries, are able to go to United Church on West Superior St (next to Steeby School) to pick up groceries. This service is available from 4:30pm-6:00pm. Sponsors to help defray the cost of the groceries are needed and can range from $100-$500. Current costs per month are averaging $545 at this time.
