Chamber Announces 17th Annual Golf Outing
On Friday, August 7th, the Wayland Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their 17th Annual Golf Outing. The outing will be held at chamber member Yankee Springs Golf Course in Wayland. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to YMCA-Camp Manitou Lin. The annual event consists of a four-person scramble which includes 18 holes of golf, cart, continental breakfast, refreshments, hot dog luncheon and a steak dinner. Many events will be taking place on the course offering chances to win great prizes. The winning team will have the honor of keeping the “Wayland Cup,” a traveling trophy, with the name of each year’s winning team engraved. Any businesses wishing to donate a door prize or purchase a hole sponsor sign for $50, or $80 for two signs, or $30 each for three or more signs can contact the chamber office.
