On Saturday, October 3, 2015, the Wayland Area Chamber of Commerce will host their 11th annual Chamber Business Expo from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Wayland Union Middle School.
In 2014, over 80 vendors displayed at the event which attracted an anticipated 3500 guests. Besides visiting with businesses and organizations, a “Taste of Wayland” food court passed out free samples to guests. Energetic shows by Critchlow Reptile Sanctuary attracted a large crowd that filled two hundred seats. Special appearances by Griff, the mascot for the Grand Rapids Griffins, free shredding service, music by the Mood Swings, a helicopter landing by West Michigan Air Care and much more filled the day with something for all ages to enjoy. Booth awards were presented to six booths with the grand prize Best of Show being awarded to chamber member Dick’s Market of Dorr.
