Welcome to the Chamber’s 10th Annual Community Expo! The Expo will take place at the Wayland Union Middle School, 701 Wildcat Drive in Wayland. The event takes place from 10:00am until 2:00pm.
- Reptile presentations at 10:30am and 12:30pm by Critchlow Reptile Sanctuary (end of hallway by cafeteria)
- Free document shredding 10:00am-1:00pm (front parking lot)
- Meet Griff from the GR Griffins from 11:30-12:30
- West MI Air Care helicopter landing at 11:00am – Meet the pilot and flight nurses while checking out this fantastic medical helicopter (landing on the south side of the school) (please note that if an emergency/crisis arises this event will be delayed)
- A totally FREE Food Court offering samples from area restaurants, delis, and bakeries (in the cafeteria)
- Enjoy the music of local jazz band, Mood Swings from 10:30-1:30 in the cafeteria
- The first 500 adults in the door will receive a reusable canvas bag and a Vendor Bingo Card for a chance to WIN free gas cards
- Visit with Jay L. Smith and view his collection of historic photos of the Wayland and surrounding areas
- Visit with over 80 vendors from area businesses, organizations, local government, schools, churches, and more!
- Meet with local law enforcement officials from MI State Police Dept, Wayland City Police Dept, Gun Lake Tribal Police Dept and Allegan County Sheriff’s Dept. Also, meet with fireman from the Wayland Fire Department.
