The Gun Lake Casino welcomed the West Michigan Chamber Network for 5th Annual Multi-Chamber “Business After Hours” event on Thursday, July 19th. The event, drawing 120 attendees, consisted of chambers from Wayland Area, Byron Center, Allegan Area, Otsego-Plainwell, Coopersville, Caledonia Area, Cutlerville-Gaines, Wyoming-Kentwood, and Grandville-Jenison. Chamber members enjoyed networking within the Stage 131 while enjoying an array of appetizers and refreshments. Live music was performed by Jake Stevens who played acoustic guitar. A drawing for two gift certificates were won by Tom Duisterhof and Ashley Pool. The event, organized by Wayland Area Chamber Executive Director Denise Behm with Gun Lake Casino Community Relations Director Jeff Sorensen, proved to be a huge success when it was started five years ago as it gives members an opportunity to network with others from various chambers.
