Chamber Announces 2018 Scholarship Recipient
The Wayland Area Chamber of Commerce has proudly announced 2018 Wayland High School graduate Mitchell Nagel as the recipient of the Wayland Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship valued at $500. The Scholarship Committee looked for a variety of experiences, involvements, volunteering, and short essay answers when deciding whom to select for this scholarship. Several items stood out with Mitchell’s application including the time he devotes to volunteering in and around the community. Mitchell plans to continue to continue his education at Central Michigan University studying Bio-Medical Science and then continue his education in medical school where his goal is to become an Orthopedic Surgeon. The Wayland Area Chamber of Commerce is proud of Mitchell and wishes him the best in his future endeavors.
